Geonovum sees the web as an important dissemination channel and wants geospatial data to be accessible to both spatial data specialists and web developers with no specific geospatial expertise. That’s why Geonovum is organizing a testbed to explore the possibilities of making spatial data a useful, integral and common part of the web. Geonovum seeks to involve the market to answer four research questions as part of this testbed.
The Invitation to Tender for this testbed was published on September 1, 2015. The original deadline for sending in proposals was extended once, from October 7 to October 17 2015, in order to allow more parties to respond.
Questions about the tender could be asked via e-mail from September 1 until October 9, 2015. An informal meeting, via teleconference, was organised to ask additional questions. This meeting was held on October 5, 2015.
All questions, those asked via email and those asked during the teleconference, have been published on GitHub together with our answers.
